I'm sure they'll send you updates. And you can do like Byodoin is doing
with his son - send videos back, so the little one won't think you're a
stranger when you do finally get back there. I know it's not the same, but
it's better than nothing at all.
It's how Mi-chan and I keep in touch, too! She sends me all kinds of
videos. Sometimes it's just updates, sometimes it's places she's gone to
that she thinks I'd enjoy, sometimes it's just her being a goofball. And I
send some back, although mine aren't as varied since I can't exactly go a
lot of places ^^;
Congratulations, Oshitari! Make sure you take video of yourself so your new sibling can become familiar with you while you're here. That way, when you go back home, they'll know you and won't be scared!
